During an active week, students are following through the Learning portal to complete any prerequisite lessons, deliver assignments and attend live instructor led online sessions as well as attending any on-site classes for physical lab work.

This program is designed for working adults who are already committed to work during office hours 9am-5pm

The Live instructor-led classes take place in the evening from 7-9pm

Additionally, adjustments such as new morning classes or shifts from evening to morning may accrue based on seasonal changes.

While all live instructor-led classes are online, we do conduct some in-person classes to physically work on some topics such as server hardware and configuration and Networking device and configuration. These classes are broadcasted live online for all students.

During the Assessment and Advisory Interview, we will evaluate your English language proficiency in terms of comprehension and speaking to ensure that you meet the program's English language requirements.

Please note that all program materials and live classes are conducted in English. However, we understand that some recent immigrants may still be learning English and may not be fluent in the language.

For students who are currently enrolled in an English language improvement program, we offer specific classes in other languages such as Dari/Persian and Spanish. It's important to note that technical terms used during translated classes will still be in English, and only instructions will be delivered in the translated language.

For student enrolled in translated classes, it is important to acknowledge that since English is the predominant language in IT industry, especially when interacting with users and customers, our career coaching and advising sessions are in English to better prepare students for the real-world job market.

Student attending translated course may face challenges in English language proficiency, potentially impacting their ability to successfully navigate job interviews. We encourage these students to actively engage in English language practice to enhance their communication skills, thereby improving their job prospects in the market.

If you are interested in the ITA Program but are not currently attending any English Language program, we have partnered with several organizations that provide English Language training courses.

Upon completing the IT Associate program at NOVA Tech Center, you will receive a certification of completion, acknowledging the courses and modules you have successfully completed.

While this certificate validates your enrollment and accomplishment in our program, our primary focus at NTC is to equip you with job-ready skills.

The technical expertise and knowledge you gain during the program will lay the foundation for pursuing industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.

NTC is situated in Northern Virginia, offering a physical learning environment for some of the practical labs. Our commitment to providing real-world exposure is facilitated through some in-person classes.

We also provide a range of extra-curricular activities, networking opportunities, and entertainment options to enrich the overall learning experience. We prefer students to be located in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) to fully participate in these offerings.

Nevertheless, we understand the importance of accessibility and convenience. Therefore, all instructor-led classes, including onsite sessions, are broadcasted online. This means that students from across the U.S. can enroll in our program and benefit from our courses.

Absolutely! The IT Associate Program is designed with career switchers, recent migrants, gig workers, and retail employees in mind, many of whom may not have prior experience in Tech. Our program is structured to provide a solid foundation in IT, offering comprehensive technical curriculum that starts from the basics and gradually progresses to more advanced topics.

During the Assessment and Advisory Interview, we'll discuss your background, career objectives, and how this program can align with your goals and if not, we may suggest you other IT career paths and training providers.
